WHO WE ARE?
SPACE is a national-level child- and women-focused organization, established on July 17, 2003 with the initiatives of few development practitioners, committed in bringing changes and improving public health, social and livelihood status of the poorest and marginalized communities by sensitizing them on their basic rights. Being a rights-based organization, it utilizes its proven experiences of working as the active development partner with all concerned government bodies, LGIs, duty bearers, NGOs, CBOs, private sector actors, civil societies, media, national and international agencies, and development partners. With a competent and decentralized work-force and strong network, it strives to bring an enabling environment towards sustainable development by complementing and supplementing development efforts of the government to meet the SDGs.
SPACE has been striving to enrich the lives of underprivileged poor children and their families by changing their socio-economic status, increasing access to improved health, education, food facilities and resources followed by community-based participatory approaches. It has enabled them to become empowered and self-reliant through developing leadership capacities for sustainable solutions of their problems towards poverty and hunger-free better life by their own initiatives.

OUR MISSION
- Improving the quality of lives of the poorest and most marginalized people (irrespective of cast, creed and color); especially the children, adolescents, women, youths and the people with difficulties, by empowering and providing them the opportunity of participation in decision-making and resource allocations to bring changes in their lives.
- Contributing to poverty alleviation through ending discrimination and exclusion, and reducing inequalities and vulnerabilities.
