JADE (Japan Association of Drainage and Environment), a non-profit International NGO working on improved sanitation in rural areas of Bangladesh funded by Japan Fund for Global Environment (JFGE). Society for People’s Action in Change & Equity (SPACE) working on rural & urban development for many years. Community Managed Environmental Sanitation in Urban Slums project in Narayangonj City Corporation implemented by SPACE and funded by FPO (Forgotten People Organization). In this project SPACE is ensuring Ecological Sanitation, Safe Water Options, Rain Water Harvesting Systems, Good Hygiene Practice, Drainage System and Use of Eco-Fertilizer within the forgotten stranded Pakistani slum dwellers in Adamjee Colony, Narayangonj.

JADE finds interest in CMES project of SPACE and ask for a visit in project site. To fulfill their request SPACE staffs arranged a field visit on Saturday, 08 October, 2016.Staffs of JADE and SPACE visited CMES Project in Shiddhirgonj, Narayangonj in the due date. JADE staffs visited all the features installed by SPACE. They were happy to see the implementation of Eco-toilets and community involvement in the project area. SPACE staff Md. Abdus Salam Miah (Coordinator, Training & Mobilization), Md. Shahidul Islam (Program Manager) and Mr. Jatan Kumar Das (Project Coordinator) was also attended the field visit.
